Account & Data Deletion Request

This page describes how users of RisCalc can request permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data in accordance with Google Play data safety policies.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly through the mobile application, or submit a request via email if you have already uninstalled the app.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

  1. Open the RisCalc app on your device.
  2. Navigate to Settings (or Profile / Account Settings).
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted. Your account and stored personal data will be immediately and permanently removed.

Option 2: Web / Email Request (If App is Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can submit a manual deletion request:

  1. Send an email to our support team at support@riscalc.app.
  2. Use the subject line: RisCalc Account Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address associated with your RisCalc account and your user ID (if known).
  4. Our team will verify ownership and process your deletion within 30 days.

Data Deletion & Retention Breakdown

Data Category Action Details & Retention Period
Account Credentials & Profile (Email, User ID, Profile details) Deleted Permanently deleted immediately upon in-app deletion, or within 30 days of verified email request.
User-Generated Content & Calculations (Saved calculations, preferences, history) Deleted Permanently removed from active databases immediately upon account deletion.
System Backups Overwritten / Purged Data in encrypted system backups is automatically overwritten and fully purged within 30–60 days.
Anonymized Telemetry & Crash Logs Retained (Anonymized) Aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic statistics retained solely for app reliability.
Financial & Legal Records (If applicable, e.g. purchase receipts) Retained (Statutory) Transaction logs may be retained only for the period required by applicable tax, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance obligations.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All saved data, calculation histories, and custom settings associated with your account will be unrecoverable.
